The demonstration on this site runs without an account, without cookies and without anything you upload. This page says what does happen when you load it.

What this site asks of you

Nothing. There is no sign-up, no form, no newsletter and no upload. The example hands and ring designs in the demonstration are pictures stored on the site, so choosing one sends nothing about you anywhere.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising script, which is why there is no cookie banner. Your choice of hand and ring is kept only in the page's address while you look at it.

What the hosting provider receives

The pages are served through Cloudflare. When your browser loads a page or a picture, Cloudflare receives that request, including your IP address and the browser's user-agent string, as any web host does in order to answer it. Cloudflare's handling of that data is described in its own privacy policy. SeeYourRing does not add tracking of its own on top of it.

Typefaces from Google Fonts

The two typefaces on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those font files from Google's servers, which see the request in the same way the host does. The site does not pass Google anything else.

Share links and saved pictures

A share link contains the page address plus the hand's letter and the ring's name, for example ?hand=n&ring=solitaire, and nothing else. A saved picture is a file that already exists on the site; it is the same file for everyone who chooses that hand and ring, and nothing about you is written into it.

When the photo try-on arrives

The version of the try-on that starts from a photo of your own hand is in private testing. Before it accepts a single photo, this page will be rewritten to say where photos are processed, how long they are kept, and how to have one removed. Until that update appears here, the site handles no photos of yours.
