SeeYourRing

For jewelers

SeeYourRing does not sell rings, hold stock or take a commission. It shows a ring style on a hand so a shopper can picture it, which helps the shop they walk into.

What exists today

A demonstration: twelve example hands, thirty-five ring designs, and a slider between the hand as pictured and the hand wearing the ring. It runs in any current browser on a phone, a tablet or a desktop. The same tool can run on a jeweler's own website with the jeweler's own rings; showing that is what this site is for.

On the counter

Pick a hand and a ring, press Share this view, and the link that is copied opens the same hand and ring on any device. Open it on a counter tablet and it is ready for the next customer. A shopper who has already looked at home may arrive with a saved picture; it carries the ring style in its corner, so you know what they were looking at.

The slider works by touch on a tablet the way it does on a phone. Nothing is installed or uploaded, so there is nothing to explain about data before a customer picks it up.

What is planned

Two steps. First, a try-on from a photo of the shopper's own hand, which is in private testing now. Second, a way for a jeweler to show their own rings on a customer's own hand, so a shopper can try rings on remotely, at home and without sales pressure, and when one looks right, a simple way to reserve that ring and book a time to see it in the shop. There is no pricing to show yet and no date; both will be stated here before either opens.

How to reach the business

If you want to hear when the jeweler version opens, or you have a view on what it should do, write to tryon@seeyourring.com. The address is read by the business that runs the site; the about page says what that business is.
